I found that musical difficult to watch. The costumes and dancing and singing in this 2 1/2 hour spectacle were wonderful; but my husband and I had to keep looking up the real history of that period to ‘get’ it all. Jefferson was played as a fool, and Hamilton’s affairs while married fascinating, but I didn’t walk out of this experience humming a memorable song. Sorry. I disliked LE MIS for the same reasons. Forgive me I liked WICKED and INTO THE WOODS which I had seen in person much better. Miranda’s writing and directing of the entire multi-ethnic cast was wonderful to see; but now that I subscribed to Disney for a month let me find some classic animated movies to entertain me. Give me DUMBO or SNOW WHITE first.
